The Mani is a hard, beautiful piece of country: stone towers, wild coast, and a history of never quite being conquered. Selana Studios sits on the edge of it, facing the water.

Our Story
There are six studios here, and they were put together one at a time by their owner, Eleftheria. Each was finished on its own terms, in the traditional style of the region, which is why no two of them are laid out quite the same way. They sit in three acres of private ground on the edge of the bay, close enough to the water that you hear it from the balcony.
Selana View came later, seventy metres up the hill and five minutes away by car. The apartments there are larger, they take up to six people, and what you get for the climb is the view straight down the bay. Guests from either are welcome at the pool below.

Getting here
By car
The drive down is a good one whether you come from Athens or from Patras, and there is plenty worth stopping for on the way. Parking on site is free.
By air and bus
There are flights from Athens to Kalamata, and the KTEL bus leaves Athens daily. Areopolis, eleven kilometres north of us, is on the bus route.
